October 4, 2018
On September 28, 2018, the American Childhood Cancer Organization, the single U.S. member of Childhood Cancer International, gave its abundant support towards the World Health Organization’s new worldwide initiative. This plan aims to shed light on the imbalance between childhood cancer survival between low versus high income countries. This announcement arrived at the United Nations General Assembly’s side meeting on child cancer.
This proposal was sponsored through a donation from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The goal of this partnership is to strengthen leadership as well as technical support to provide aid to governments in establishing high quality child cancer programs.
